Into Unknown Parts

Into Unknown Parts examines the experience of Inuits who are forced to leave their community to live for an indefinite period of time in a tuberculosis sanatorium. Instead of a simple explanatory narrative, the film hopes to capture one of the most striking aspects of this dislocation: the way in which the possibility of communication, both verbal and non-verbal, has been called into question.
